For every new team member, we ask them the following questions to learn about who they are and why sustainability matters to them. Today, we introduce Daria Kuvshinova. Read Daria’s interview below and enjoy!

Where is home for you?:

I'm more of an anywhere person—home is not a fixed place for me but rather an idea. It’s where I feel comfortable, inspired, and present, wherever I can be myself and pursue what matters most to me.

What made you decide to join the Sustaira team?
I was drawn to Sustaira because of its mission to drive sustainability through technology. I strongly believe that with the European climate targets set for 2030-2050, many businesses will need to rethink and optimize their internal processes. Being part of a team that helps companies make these transitions and find innovative solutions to sustainability challenges is incredibly fulfilling. It’s great to know that my work can have a positive impact on the world and contribute to a greener future.

What is your role at Sustaira?

I work as a developer, where I focus on building and improving digital solutions. My role involves developing and optimizing software that helps companies monitor, analyze, and enhance their sustainability efforts. I collaborate with the team to create efficient, scalable, and user-friendly applications that align with the needs of our clients.

What does sustainability mean to you?

To me, sustainability is a smart way to live—it's about making choices today that will positively impact the future. It’s not just about environmental consciousness but also about efficiency, responsibility, and innovation. Whether it's in business, personal habits, or technology, sustainability is about creating long-term value while minimizing harm to the planet and future generations.

Where do you believe technology meets sustainability in your vision?

I see technology as a key driver of sustainability. Automation, data analytics, and AI can help businesses streamline their operations, reduce waste, and make data-driven decisions for a more sustainable future. By using digital tools, companies can focus on strategic goals rather than manual processes, allowing them to track and improve their environmental impact more effectively.

Tell us a little bit about you! Just a couple of fun facts or something people may not know. What do you believe people need to know about you?

I like learning new things and solving challenges. I never say no to good food. Exploring a new city or country, I always go to a museum to study and admire what other people have created throughout history.
